Job Description:
PHP Web Developer Job Requirements
Join a highly-skilled Web development Team as a Web Developer specializing in PHP development. The chosen candidate will design and develop professional, world-quality public web sites for a variety of applications.
You will be expected to plan, research, develop logic, code, test and deploy Web pages with minimal assistance. You should know how to build a PHP web application from the ground up, as well as modify and build on existing code.
Qualifications:
Bachelor”s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
4+ years of professional experience developing database-driven web applications
2-4 years of experience developing websites with PHP 4.0+
Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
Highly proficient with HTML/JavaScript/CSS
Experienced working with XML
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills
Comfortable using MS Office, notably Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience with source control software and practices
Beneficial attributes:
Experience with the Smarty PHP Framework
Experience administering Linux and Apache
Visual creativity (graphics, layout, design)
Experience with web development technologies other than PHP/MySQL/Oracle
