 The Position
 ————
 Spikesource is recruiting for the solution engineering team.
 
 Role : Software Engineer
 Experience : 2 – 5Years.
 Qualification : BE/BS/MS
 
 Skills
 
 Broad knowledge of multiple technologies, including but not limited to,
 Third and Fourth Generation Languages, distributed
 transaction-processing, middleware, rules engines, workflow, network
 communication and database design
 
 + Configuring, tuning and patching/upgrading web, database and
 application servers like:
 + Tomcat, Jboss, jbpm etc.
 + Apache httpd, http lite etc.
 + Mysql, postgres, hypersonic etc.
 + Packaging skills (RPM’s, openpkg)
 + Excellent scripting (Perl/Python/Shell etc).
 + Exposed to automated build and test framework development
 + Excellent command on working with visioning systems like CVS, SVN.
 + Good breadth in working with Open source components.
 + Associated with development/maintenance of one or more component in
 the community would be an added advantage.
 + Also note that an experience with Java-based applications, their
 deployment scenarios, their runtime environment, debugging their
 problems etc. would be an added advantage.
 + Effective written and verbal communication skills.
