Responsibilities:
New web and mobile portal development projects with a mix of general operational responsibilities as associated with ISP related environments
Required Profile:
· Excellent problem solving skills
· Proven ability to perform under pressure
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Solid customer service skills
· Can-do-attitude
· A good work/life balance philosophy
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
1. Perl and Linux
2. SQL
3. Strong knowledge of Regular Expressions
4. Strong knowledge of mod_perl and Apache
5. Open Source Databases experience (e.g. MySQL/PostGRESQL)
6. CVS experience
7. Experience with Layer 2 IP Networking
Other desired experience:
· Telecommunications and ISP industry experience
· Experience of LDAP installation and configuration
· Additional Knowledge of Java, Python, C, C++, Apache/Tomcat, Oracle, CVS
· Good working knowledge of network infrastructure and architecture
· Capacity planning and performance analysis skills
· Sound understanding of software engineering methodologies
Experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum
