Unix Administration
 
? Excellent working knowledge of UNIX infrastructure, networking, configuration and administration on various major UNIX platforms (e.g., SUN, RS/6000, Linux).
 
? Knowledge of NT/Novell and Windows 2000 environments, Network Management setup/administration experience, and a thorough understanding of LAN/WAN network configurations is a plus.
 
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience using the Microsoft Office applications.
? Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze, evaluate and resolve technical problems and the ability to track and document problem resolution steps in a problem management system are essential.
? Position requires involvement in 24×7 operational problems. After hours and weekend work may be required during systems problem analysis and troubleshooting.
? Knowledge in Harvest, Tivoli, best1, Etrust, Veritas clustering and GCO clusters, SSH, NFS file sharing, DiskSuite, EMC devices, Sendmail, scripting, and NDM are a plus.
 Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving, and time management skill is an absolute mandate.
