Note: selected candidatyel be working on one of our client projects remotely from India, working as per US CST (Central Time Zone), which is 7pm to 4am IST.

It basically a Product Development and Consulting Company with our HQ based out of Fremont, CA. We’ve recently started our operations in India and currently have a fulltime staff of 20 employees. We plan to grow it to somewhere between 50 and 100 by the end of this year.

Primary Skills: Experience with design, deployment, disaster recovery, fine tuning and maintenance of Sun Java System Directory Server Enterprise Edition 6.0 on Linux/Solaris. The right candidate should be Proficient with common aspects of directory design (namespace, schema, security, topology, etc.) and be practiced in Schema Extension, Migration and Merging Strategies. Good understanding in different Java technologies web servers and other web technologies. Must have hands on experience with multi-master replication strategies. Shell scripting knowledge will be a plus. Experience on Sun Portal 7 software will be a big plus.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Implementing High Availability and Fault Tolerance Strategies, HA and Failover using MMR, Write Failover, Load Balancing using Directory Proxy Server.Day-to-day maintenance of Sun Directory. Design/Develop strategy for creation of users in LDAP.Migration of users/roles/profiles across DEV,QA and Production environments.
2. Administration/creation of dynamic attributes and access accounts within LDAP database.Design, implement and test a scalable and secure LDAP-based security infrastructure and develop standards and directory synchronization processes.
3. Responsibilities include Producing LDAP schema designs and operational plans for populating, maintaining, operating, deployment and enhancement of SUN Portal server Directories.Refine the Role Based Security framework used for authentication and authorization and provide guidance and support, as well as technical expertise to application teams in implementing the above strategies.
Experience: 4-6 yrs in the relevant field (maintenance & support- Experience with SUN directory on Linux will be preferred)
Location: Bangalore.
Salary: CTC isn a constraint for right candidate.
