Job Profile: Project Lead – PHP
Document attempts to express & clarify roles and responsibilities
for team members. Document is meant to act as guide rather then
boundaries for one to contribute towards companies’ objectives and
growth. Beyond this document it’s your understanding of company,
vision, operations, team work and Practical Approach to contribute from
every aspect towards company.
Like a captain of the ship you are responsible to manage Projects &
Development teams in company. Ensuring smooth execution, resource
management, meeting dead lines, customer support are key
responsibilities on your shoulder and expected to play ‘Larger than
Life’ role within company. Strong result orientation, adherence to
company’s vision, Listener, excellent communicator (written and
verbal), Accepting Changes, quick learner, managing self & team are
key characteristics as a Project Lead. Accountable for on time project
completion, Quality Deliverables, Resource Utilization, People
management & Technology Implementation are Key Result Area as a
Project Lead.
The Project Lead will be responsible for mentoring and developing the
skills of the staff and to ensure the best performance from the staff,
and so that the results meets Radix’s customer satisfaction.
The Project Lead will be responsible for maintaining the correct skills
levels in the Team and ensuring continuity by maintaining backup staff
for each skill. The Project Lead will be responsible for providing a
disaster recovery and contingence plan cover staff and infrastructure
to the Operation Head.
Candidate would be responsible for following activities:
1) Responsible for successful planning and follow through aimed at profitable, high quality and timely completion of projects.
2) Responsible to interact with the US/UK clients for necessary
amendments / changes in the projects as per need arises. Capable to
understand & analyzing the client’s requirements.
3) You will be also responsible to create web applications by your own logic
4) As Team Leader the Project Lead will be responsible for the
management of the PHP development teams. Management includes both
project and line management.
5) The Project Lead will be responsible for maintaining the correct
skills levels in the Team and ensuring continuity by maintaining backup
staff for each skill.
Desired Qualities:
We need a person with, Excellent working experience on PHP, & MySQL
with 3 – 5 years of experience. Familiarity with common open source PHP
apps. Good concepts on Object Oriented Design/Development. Good
knowledge of HTML, CSS, Ajax ,Smarty, Java Script, XML. Ability to Lead
web development team & handle pressure and demands.
You should have an excellent communication skills.
